A ring question?

Should I give my girlfriend a ruby ring (my birthstone) or a peridot ring (her birthstone) i was thinking of the ruby one so that she could remember me when she looks at it instead of her own color that she just knows that that is her birthstone. I dunno guys what should I do.
I think the idea of your birthstone is very sweet
If she really likes her birth stone then go with hers but if she really does not care then go with ruby.
is there any way you can get a ring with both of the birthstones? that way your both represented and she can see how romantic you are… maybe the next ring you get her will be a diamond????
Why not give her a ring that has both of your birthstones in it to signify you two being together?
